IT Buddy provides funded training workshops at Appleton Business and Enterprise College. These workshops are provided to the local community and are attended by a diverse range of people, some who are looking to improve their skills for personal use, others who need the skills for their job. We have been delivering these workshops for the last 2 years. Our workshop portfolio is expanding all the time. Currently we teach Introduction to IT (for absolute beginners), Introduction to Web Design Parts I and II and Understanding Search Engine Optimisation.

We provide IT related workshops to the business hub at Essex University. Most workshops are 1 or 1/2 day in length and cover subjects such as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Social Media Marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Blogging, RSS), Writing For The Web, Google Webmaster Tools (including Google accounts and Google Analytics), Building A Website, the planning process and Effective Email Campaigns. In 2005 IT Buddy undertook a complete re-coding and re-design of Essex's largest, award winning online dating company, Talksaferdating.com. The project was completed in 2006. The client continues to employee our services to further develop the website, with 14 months of changes launched in Spring 2009. The website now has a spin off site called 1date.co.uk
